MORE ABOUT AIMEE O'KEEFE, LSCW-R, BCD

Aimee is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with her Psychotherapy R Privilege (LCSW-R), Board Certified Diplomate (BCD), and a Certified School Social Worker.  As a BCD, Aimee has met the highest standards in clinical education, training and experience.  Aimee also has advanced training in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders. She received her Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) in 1998 from the University at Albany, State University of New York.  Her experiences include: residential facility, prevention program, hospital (NICU), foster care, rural and urban public school districts.  Aimee has been is private practice since 2014.

Aimee focuses on her client's strengths. She uses evidence based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).  She attends continuing education trainings to remain current in the field of social work.

Aimee is a member of the American Board of Clinical Social Work, a member of Postpartum Support International (PSI)  and National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

Aimee's  clinical focus is working with women who are facing life challenges such as:  anxiety, depression, interpersonal, adjustment, perinatal and postpartum and family issues.   

Aimee is committed to providing her clients with a safe therapeutic environment. Her goal is to have her client’s feel comfortable and supported in a space where they are seen and heard. Aimee works closely with her clients and assists them in reaching their greatest potential and live their best life. Aimee provides a calm unbiased setting and is culturally sensitive.  When establishing treatment plans and goals, she works collaboratively with her clients.
